During the 2006 Arizona festival I had a client that wanted something that could be worn with a garment for fashion and later worn without for a more sporting effect.
We spent an hour hanging pieces of Chainmaille and listening to her responses. The breakthrough was when I held a legging up and her eyes brightened. It was the end of the day and we agreed I would make they piece we had envisioned and she would come back the following Tuesday to pick it up.
I made 2 prototypes but alas, she never returned. It was the end of the festival and I did not get a chance to see the items on anyone until the Bristol Festival.
The basic design starts at $150, the silver and hematite shown here was $175 the silver and gold $225
The group of photos at the end was an outfit sale that included the hematite top. It was inspirational to adorn such a woman. She was smart, beautiful, fun and in great shape.
A week before the end of the festival I took an order for another top so of course I made 2 as well as tweaked the design slightly to make a more pronounced shape to the cup. Both sold the first day they were available and I was unable to get photos.
I look foreword to making more of these fun designs, I even have an idea to expanded it to a full dress when I get the right sponsor
